The World Museum in Liverpool is an ideal day out for the family with plenty to see, do and get your hands-on including different events.
The museum has extensive collections covering world cultures, sciences, animals, bugs and of course dinosaurs.
The kids can dive into the aquarium which features sea life from around the world, watch free performances and films at the Treasure House Theatre and get creeped out in the Bug House.
Look out for the Clore Natural History centre - here you can touch and feel the skulls of animals including a hippopotamus, alligator and even a mammoth tooth.
Plus discover the Ancient Worlds of Egypt, Greece and Rome then while the kids check out the planetarium show (you can pick up tickets from the information desk) you can sit back and enjoy something tasty to eat in the cafe.
The family cafe serves hot and cold meals and snacks and is open from 10am to 4.30pm.
