If you're heading to the Albert Dock then Tate Liverpool is a great place to take the kids.
There are free family activities and events all year round plus you can explore the galleries or have something to eat in the café.
Entry to Tate Liverpool is free for everyone with a charge for special exhibitions although under 12s get into exhibitions for free.
Play or take a break from the gallery in the Clore Learning Centre - a free space designed just for families.
You can also pick up a free rocket backpack for the kids to use during their visit. Designed to help young children and their adults explore the Constellations collection display together, the backpack provides a number of arty activities.
The kids can explore and play a spot game around the building using the specially designed prompt cards, look through fabulous view finders and investigate every gallery corner using torches.
Then complete your trip to the shop to pick up pocket money gifts.
