A festival of storytelling has launched in Liverpool ONE and this year’s Story Season promises to be bigger and better than ever – with even more for visitors of all ages to enjoy, inspired by everyone’s favourite literary characters.
Head to Liverpool ONE on Wednesday, March 28 for the launch of the story season with a whole host of popular children’s book characters, including Alice in Wonderland and the White Rabbit, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Dennis the Menace, Captain Hook and Tinker Bell will be appearing at Liverpool ONE between 11am and 3pm. They will read stories to visitors and will also be giving out a host of Easter treats.
The reading trees have also returned to Paradise Street and bookworms are encouraged to share their love of reading by bringing a book and leaving it behind to share with others.
Visitors are invited to take a book home with them too from one of the shelves nestled within the tree trunks.
Unveiled in time for Easter and available throughout the school holidays, Story Season offers the perfect opportunity for families to take a seat and indulge in a familiar classic or discover a new read.
In addition to the trees, there will be a series of special reading sessions hosted across Liverpool ONE for families to enjoy.
Liverpool ONE is once again working in conjunction with The Reader, the team behind The Storybarn at Calderstones Park. Throughout April, The Reader will bring a taste of its popular Storybarn to Liverpool ONE entertaining families as the written word is brought to life.
