A short walk along the Hoylake shore lies Red Rocks - a striking area of rust coloured sand dunes.
This area is popular with families who love exploring the shallow bay which has plenty of rock pools which are great for little nippers to paddle in.
Be on the look out for natterjack toads as well as wild flowers, butterflies and skylarks which can all be found in the sand dunes there.
Your little birdwatchers will also love spotting redwings, chaffinchs and willow warblers.
This pretty stretch of large sandy beach also overlooks Hilbre Island.
