This grade II-listed park is often overlooked with it being next door to Sefton Park and is a lovely place to go for stroll with the family.
Find the final resting place of Judy the Donkey who worked for 21 years giving children rides around the park or if the grass is dry roll down the hills near the Ullet Road entrance.
The kids can also enjoy the play areas in the centre of the park which include swings, see saw and climbing frame.
Other things to look out for include the foundations of the former Grade II listed boathouse and the dazzling Sunburst entrance gates.
