If you fancy a hit of nostalgia then this cinema is a wonderful place to have a movie experience.
Originally opening on September 2,1939, it was immediately closed again because of the outbreak of World War II.
Nearly 60 years later, the theatre was turned into a community cinema in 1997 after the owners wanted to close the doors for good - but the community rallied around and it is now run by a mix of staff and volunteers.
It has three screens and holds weekly family screenings, midnight screenings plus autism-friendly and dementia-friendly showings too.
