The Atkinson is a great place to take the kids with lots to see and do all in one place.
From the library and the museum to the Art Box - an interactive space where you and your little ones can explore and experiment with materials and ideas.
Here's some of the free activities which are part of The Atkinson's Kidsfest that you can take part in over the February half term.
Make It! - February 12, 10.30am-12.30pm
Get creative with this fun activitiy for all ages. Create and make your own fun animal mask inspired by the Why Look at Animals? exhibition.
Hands On! - February 13, 11am-1pm (subject to availability)
Get hands on with museum artefacts from The Atkinson's collections. Suitable for all ages.
Arty Aprons - every day (during Kidsfest), 11am – 3pm (subject to availability)
Children aged three and up can explore the galleries with handy tools
Story & Rhyme Time in the library, February 13, 14, 10.30am-11.30am and 15, 2pm-3pm
For children up to aged four.
