If you want an amazing view of the city centre then you can't beat the stunning views from Everton Park.
From this lofty vantage point you can see all of over Liverpool including the spires of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and Paddy's Wigwam and even the wind turbines over the River Mersey.
The park features a nature garden with beautiful wildflowers which is open Thursday and Friday mornings, plus two small lakes which is great place to take the kids pond dipping and bird watching.
Don't miss the Heritage Trail too which takes you through the grassland meadows and woodland with lots of places to explore.
If you fancy a workout then you can also take advantage of the outdoor gym equipment including a leg press, space walker and agility bench.
For the kids there is a playground and multi-use games area for football and other activities plus a huge sports hub for skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders which even glows in the dark!
