Try something different with the kids over October half term for Halloween at WWT Martin Mere.
The kids can hop on their broomstick and experience the incredible journey Whooper swans make from Iceland to Martin Mere with an interactive migration obstacle course.
They will have to look out for predators, pylons and wind turbines and when they are finished they can collect their broomstick pilot licence and take a souvenir photo of their achievement.
While you're at Martin Mere the kids can also take part in a range of activities including pumpkin carving and exploring the grounds to find carved pumpkins to win a chocolate treat.
You can also watch hundreds of Whooper swans feed on the mere at 3pm from the Discovery hide and 3.30pm from Raines Observatory (both feeds include a wardens talk).
